About the Manufactured Housing Section

Since 1979, the Nevada Housing Division's Manufactured Housing team has worked to keep Nevada residents safe while promoting a thriving manufactured housing industry. The section oversees the construction, installation, and regulation of manufactured homes, mobile homes, and commercial coaches across the state.

What we do

Our section provides a range of services to ensure homes are safe, compliant, and properly installed.

• Certificates of Ownership — issue official ownership documents for manufactured homes.
• Licensing — license dealers, salespeople, servicemen, and rebuilders to maintain professional standards.
• Production Facility Inspections — ensure homes are safely built in certified manufactured facilities.
• Plan Approvals — review and approve modifications or additions to existing homes.
• Installation Inspections — check that homes are installed safely and according to code.
• Consumer Support — help resolve complaints between homeowners, tenants, and landlords.
